Position summary

Responsible for recruiting focused on:

  1. Overseeing and executing campus recruiting for Université Saint Joseph and American University of Cairo
  2. Overseeing recruitment process for direct/referred intern through senior associate candidates
  3. Maintaining recruiting Google Sheets and providing support on reporting, as needed
  4. Supporting the Summer Internship Program
 

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Work closely with recruiting partner, school champions, and head of recruiting to align on strategies for university recruitment (timelines, screening criteria, targets, profiles of interest, selling points) and plan accordingly
  • Lead execution of the hiring cycle for full-time and intern campus applicants from USJ/ESIB and, AUC, from sourcing through offer stage, including campus recruiting plan and timeline, candidate profile screening, scheduling interviews and issuing offers to new recruits, and acting as candidate main point of contact
  • Organize and attend campus presentations, information sessions, coffee chats, and sell events, communicating the firm’s key messages and service offerings to candidates. Liaise closely with campus career centres and relevant student organizations (e.g., consulting clubs)
  • Represent the Middle East team on the ground at campus events (corporate presentations, interviews, coffee chats, career networking events, etc.) and engage with students to sell the brand
  • Organize and attend student office visits from core school campuses in Strategy& ME offices, coordinating closely with student organizers and interacting with audience to address questions from a recruiting perspective
  • Cooperate closely with the marketing team for social media posts around campus events (before, during, and after events), providing photos and key information
  • Maintain campus recruiting calendar and attendance shared with recruiting team and other functions (Business Operations Managers for seniors attendance, marketing for social media posts, etc.)
  • Provide support on the Summer Intern Program
Analysis/Financials:
  • Analyse recruiting trends and provide suitable recommendations to school champions. Maintain tracking tools to provide support with efficient analysis
  • Support budget planning and expense tracking for recruiting activities across relevant schools
  • Validate and categorise (as needed) expenses submitted to Finance Team — mainly from client staff and vendors — for campus-related activities
  • Develop event budgets, ensuring cost-efficient options are explored for events, and monitor actual spend to ensure compliance with limits
  • Maintain recruiting-wide tracking tools and ensure data is updated regularly
  • Generate and share recruitment reports as needed
  • Maintain candidate profiles on assigned digital tools (e.g., Google Sheets or other Applicant Tracking System)
Team management:
  • Act as a subject matter expert on university recruitment questions and reply to queries
  • Train new hires in the recruiting team on particular topics (e.g., recruiting sheets, issuing offers)
  • Contribute to an environment of teamwork within the recruitment team and support other areas as needed
  • Maintain oversight of and follow up on relevant campus hiring process, ensuring campus champions, recruiting partner, and head of recruiting are kept up to date on pipeline status and targets are met

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Qualifications:
  • University degree
  • Three to four years’ experience in HR/recruiting required
  • Experience and interest in a fast-paced international client service environment
  • Solid recruiting experience, ideally in a professional services environment with exposure to schools
  • Proficient in English and Arabic
Skills:
  • Strong people and teaming skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); digital systems proficiency is a plus
  • Highly flexible; prepared to work out of regular hours and travel extensively
