Professor Dario Krpan

Dario Krpan is an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science in the Department of Psychological and Behavioral Science at the London School of Economics (LSE) and is affiliated with the LSE’s Data Science Institute. He completed his academic training at the University of Cambridge, earning both an MPhil and a PhD in psychology.

Dario’s primary research focus is on transformative behavioral change—how individuals can adapt their lifestyles to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges, particularly climate change and issues arising from the ongoing technological revolution, including increased automation and the rise of artificial intelligence. In this context, he also explores the potential of AI and advanced technologies to better understand human behavior.

His research has been published in leading academic journals, including Nature Human Behavior, The Lancet Planetary Health, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Perspectives on Psychological Science, Artificial Intelligence Review, Journal of Environmental Psychology, Social Psychological and Personality Science, and Behavioral Public Policy, among others.
