GCC ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) are projected to transfer US$500 billion–700 billion in wealth to the next generation by 2035. This includes both financial and nonfinancial assets accumulated by GCC investors who are mostly from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Although this presents a challenge for GCC managers trying to retain wealth, it also offers an opportunity to attract the estimated US$200 billion–250 billion in financial assets expected to transfer offshore. Achieving this could unlock additional annual revenue growth of US$1.5 billion–2 billion.
