Shantanu Gautam
Partner, Strategy& Middle East
Shantanu Gautam is a Partner with Strategy& and a member of the firm’s Energy, Resources & Sustainability practice in the Middle East.
He has nineteen years of strategy consulting experience in portfolio strategy, energy transition, business model transformation, M&A and new capability development. He has worked with an array of energy clients including national oil companies, government institutions, independents, oil majors and service providers.
Shantanu specialises and has deep expertise in oil & gas sector having advised clients across the value chain in Middle East, Europe, Indian Subcontinent and SE Asia.
In addition to his industry focus, Shantanu specializes on energy sector decarbonization and works with clients to establish Net Zero strategies, design Carbon Management Frameworks and shape new green opportunities.
In addition to his client work, Shantanu has co-authored multiple reports and articles such as:
