Marc-Albert Hamalian is a Partner with Strategy& and a member of the Family Business, Investments, and Real Estate practice in the Middle East.
He advises leading family conglomerates, investment companies/ private equity firms, and sovereign wealth funds on strategy, transformation, and value creation, helping clients strengthen governance, scale investment platforms, and deliver sustainable long-term performance.
Marc-Albert brings broad expertise across corporate and investment strategy, governance, and large-scale transformations, as well as deal-related matters including commercial due diligence, portfolio optimization, M&A and joint ventures, financial restructuring, and post-merger integration across multiple sectors. He also supports government entities on investment strategy, private sector participation, development finance, investor attraction, and financial sustainability.
A recognized thought leader in this space, Marc-Albert has co-authored several flagship reports, “Investment opportunities in the GCC education sector: Four plays for private equity and strategic investors,” “From family enterprises to institutions: A differentiated journey for Middle East and North Africa family businesses,” and “How to restructure Kuwait’s investment companies: Why facing financial reality is critical.”
Marc-Albert joined Strategy& in 2008. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer and communications engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from INSEAD.
