Makram Debbas is a Partner with Strategy& and a member of the firm’s Consumer Markets practice in the Middle East.

Makram has more than 13 years of consulting experience, working mainly with consumer-packaged goods, retail, distribution, and agri companies, advising them on topics related to growth and investment strategy, turnarounds, operational improvements, and corporate transformation.

In addition to his client work, Markram has authored reports and articles including “How consumer goods companies can future-proof their business with web3”, “How the Middle East can promote agritech”, “Get ready for the future of retail”, “How GCC consumer packaged goods companies and retailers can emerge stronger from the COVID-19 crisis”, and “Opportunities in the GCC food landscape: Strategies for success.”

Makram has a bachelor of science in engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
