Fady Halim is a Partner with Strategy& and a member of the Family Business, Investments, and Real Estate practice in the Middle East. He has more than 14 years of experience in management consulting, engineering, and construction, acquired through multiple engagements in North America and the Middle East.

Fady works on real estate development of megaprojects and specialises in urban regeneration and corporate strategy as well as religious tourism. He has expertise in institutional setup and operating model design, strategy articulation, business planning, and large scale transformation programs.

He advises governments and city authorities, real estate developers, and investors on a broad range of topics. Most recently, he has led client assignments in:

  • Developing a comprehensive urban regeneration program including concept definition, economic feasibility development, socio-economic impact assessment, planning management, restoration / preservation strategy, and implementation support
  • Articulating the strategy and developing the economic feasibility for the development of a large urban waterfront destination
  • Designing an institutional setup, defining the strategy and developing the business plan for the expansion of a large religious tourism destination

Prior to management consulting, Fady spent several years in the engineering and construction industry in North America. He served as a project management professional as well as a field engineer on a number of mega developments within the infrastructure, oil and gas, and mining sectors.

Fady holds an MBA from INSEAD, a master’s in engineering specialised in construction management and a bachelor of engineering specialised in mechanical engineering from Concordia University.
