Raed Alnazer is a Senior Executive Advisor with Strategy& and a member of the Government and Public Sector practice in the Middle East.

A strategic advisor with extensive experience in economic development, crisis management, and national-level initiatives, he has advised government entities on projects spanning logistics, special economic zones, and national strategies.

Prior to joining Strategy&, Raed held several senior roles in Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP) for eight years, where he led the Regional Development Department and the Transportation and Logistics Sector, covering diverse sectoral and regional priorities.

Raed served as Head of the National Roads Committee, overseeing the review and approval of all new road projects across the Kingdom, and led the Logistics Sector at the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program. He played a central role in shaping key national strategies as part of the technical teams behind the National Transportation and Logistics Strategy and the National Maritime Strategy.

Raed has also supported efforts to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub by leading Saudi delegations to Japan, South Korea, and Singapore to promote investment opportunities, and was a member of the Saudi technical teams negotiating cross-border rail projects with Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman.

He has also represented the Ministry of Economy and Planning at the Hajj and Umrah Vision Realization Program, as well as the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers. Earlier in his career, Raed held a range of management and technical positions with Schlumberger across the Middle East.

Raed holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Geology from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
