Industrial advisor in the acquisition of a foreign Private Bank

A leading Italian wealth manager engaged Strategy& to review the strategic rationale and define the combined business plan for a proposed acquisition in a CH Private Bank to accelerate its international growth journey. We addressed major strategic questions around the attractiveness of the target, the feasibility of its projected growth, and the potential synergies with our client business model. We then helped the client articulate an investment strategy and identified the key issues to be negotiated with the target, resulting in a successful investment.

Helping an asset gatherer in its “Private Banking” proposition
