Australia Mining Strategy & Transformation

  • Set up Global Business Services function to deliver value from end-to-end backoffice optimisation, digitisation and automation
  • Defined double digit profit strategy, and delivered this value across multiple transformation programmes over 36 months, with more than 500 client employees
  • Acted as Chief Transformation Officer, managing teams who delivered savings through procurement and operational levers
  • - Additionally, my teams designed and set-up a maintenance function, using advanced analytics to improve equipment lifetime and total cost of ownership

APAC Telco Strategy & Transformation

  • Set up B2B Digital Transformation to deliver strategy by bringing together business, experience, and technology stakeholders
  • Diagnose of existing Technology programme, following Digital Assurance best practices
  • Design of Digital Transformation governance pointed towards business value, with agile ways of working, and clear prioritisation and trade-off mechanism using Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Developed strategy to deliver 15%+ cost reduction in Networks department in a Telco, and move org to cross-functional agile squads to deliver operational improvements 
  • Delivered target savings in procurement, labour efficiency, and operational process improvements
  • In parallel, lifted employee satisfaction of organisation to first quartile, while improving Network quality
  •  These 3 goals of financial impact, employee satisfaction, and Network quality were achieved through dedicated capability building for both top management, and working teams
