Why Strategy&
The first reason is Strategy&’s strong profile in Commercial Due Diligences, where you get to try out a range of industries. The second reason is that I knew Strategy& would provide an environment to grow since the people here are one of the smartest I’ve ever met – and they inspire me every day. The third reason, and for me, the most important one, is the team atmosphere – we are open, inviting and really look out for each other. I felt it from the first time I got in contact with the team and it was the main reason that I wanted to start here!
How do you best prepare for an interview at Strategy&
Like everything else, practice, mainly because you learn how to manage the stress that can come during an interview. It’s not about getting the “right” answer, it’s also important to demonstrate your ability to explain why you take a certain approach. Don’t forget to also share who you are personally to leave a strong impression, it’s equally important to the case part!
What is the most important thing you have learnt from Strategy&
I would say it is the ability to deliver a key message, attention spans are not as long as you might think. Another skill I have developed greatly is being able to adapt the working style to different people and clients - if something works well in one setting it might not as much in another.
Beyond Strategy&
I’m a huge fan of travelling and a bit of an airplane nerd – so when I’m not working you would find me travelling somewhere new to explore!
