After seven years at networking and telecommunications giant Ericsson, Serge Audenaert has set out his own shingle, in Belgium. In September, the Strategy& alumnus opened Organovus, a boutique digital firm, that offers cross-industry digital road-mapping, partnering, and business development “to help customers bridge the gap between techno-social trends and business decisions.”
He’s also a digital innovation expert for the nonprofit Agoria, which represents and assists tech companies in Belgium.
Serge has written numerous articles about tech matters, which have appeared on LinkedIn, and one of his most recent is informed by his experiences working with boards. The digital economy is not going away. It’s a reality all businesses and their boards of directors must embrace. But getting topics and activities pertaining to the digital economy — such as innovation, tech trends, and cybersecurity — onto a board’s agenda is often difficult. In his article, Serge explains why that is, and outlines the steps to take to overcome this issue and keep a company, and its board, relevant.
