On June 14, 2018, the board of directors of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, chaired by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, appointed Abdulrahman Addas as CEO.
With more than 16 years of related experience, Abdulrahman has had a hand in institutional and digital transformations, design and strategy management, financial consultancy, real estate development, and technology investment.
As well as being an alum of Strategy&, Abdulrahman was chief corporate development officer at Majid Al-Futtaim Holding.
The Royal Commission was established to fulfill the Kingdom’s desire to improve the services offered in Makkah City and the Holy Sites, in a manner that is commensurate with the sanctity of those locations. It aims to serve all beneficiaries of Makkah City and the Holy Sites, including but not limited to: pilgrims, residents, visitors, and investors.
The Royal Commission will seek to be an effective contributor and enabler to the implementation of strategic objectives and priorities of Saudi Arabia as outlined in Vision 2030, and will help build a vibrant society and prosperous economy for Makkah City and the Holy Sites.
