For the still-fledgling Hamburg Strategy& alumni community, 2018 is becoming the year — at least, when it comes to the opportunities for networking with us. In mid-April, we invited a small and exclusive band of our former colleagues to the “Sturmfreie Bude an der Alster,” along with some top-level PwC alumni, for an interesting and highly rewarding exchange on the subject of digitization. The discussion was kicked off with a thought-provoking talk by Sven Külper, PwC alumnus and founder of MyTaxi and Car2Go, and then continued informally over flying food and various cocktails.
This subject-focused evening was followed by our highly informal alumni “Stammtisch,” the first such Stammtisch in GSA. There was no set topic for discussion; instead, we met up with Hamburg alumni in late May under a banner of “come as you are” in Atelier F, a bistro on the famous shopping mile of the Große Bleichen, just a stone’s throw from our office. And, as the name Stammtisch suggests, it wasn’t for the last time.
