Rothin Bhattacharyya

Rothin is a Director with Strategy& India. He advises clients on their growth, business improvement and transformation journey.

He recently opted for early retirement from his position as the Global Head of Strategy & Strategy Execution at one of the largest electrical manufacturing companies in the world, based in Europe. Prior to this role, he was the Company’s Head of Business Transformation. He played a pivotal role in the organisation’s transformation journey. Prior to that, Rothin was the Chief Strategy Officer of HCL Infosystems, and on multiple Boards as lead Whole time Director. He has several decades experience in transformation, turnaround and restructuring, both in business as a profit/loss leader, and in management consulting-both in Advisory, and M&A.

Over his 38 years of experience, he has held P/L positions with several organizations including one of the largest consumer tech and electrical manufacturer in the world, KPMG and HCL. He has also led the services business of one of the leading technology companies focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. He has managed global teams in the past of 13,000+ people, led large corporate turnarounds, performance improvement programmes, mergers, divestitures, financial restructuring and development of new business ventures.
