Something about myself

Besides studying Finance and Economics, I have gained experience in FMCG, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, and consulting through several extracurriculars. In my spare time I love to do all kinds of cardio sports (particularly running), play the piano, or just enjoy a night out with friends.

I really enjoy the work at S& because it allows me to combine many of my interests and constantly feeds my curiosity and eagerness for self-development. The learning curve is very steep because right from the start I got many opportunities to take on large responsibilities. For example, by joining a weekly session with the CEO of one of the largest European banks or by presenting an analysis to a group of ~25 S&/PwC partners. Throughout all of this, I feel very supported because of the friendly and constructive environment in our office.

Something about myself

I am addicted to trail running. There's not much better than going outside for a run - feeling the wind on my face, hearing birds chirp, and smelling the scent of trees or freshly mowed grass. I love the excitement of small (or not so small) adventures and the sense of freedom they provide. Trail running helps me unwind mentally and offers a great balance to the intellectual challenges at work.

Contribution to solving society’s important problems

I am passionate about sustainability and focus on projects related to waste, recycling, and circularity. From developing an approach to increase the collection rate of PET bottles in the deposit return system, to anticipating future challenges around nuclear waste, I find this work very fulfilling. It feels special to see you work headlining the news, but more importantly, contributing to a more sustainable world provides me with a great sense of purpose.

Something about myself

I’m drawn to philosophy and consulting for the same reason: both reward curiosity and encourage learning across different subjects. This mindset, together with a semi-accidental freelance consulting role at an off-Broadway theater company in New York, led me to pursue consulting as a career.
