On 29 May, we are organising the Queer Career: LGBTIQ+ & Allies event at Strategy&/PwC in Amsterdam. This day is specifically designed to introduce you to the PwC Advisory practice which includes Strategy&. During the event, we will take you through the dynamics of our work and show how diversity, inclusion and allyship play an important role within the company.
You will meet colleagues from Strategy&, Deals and Consulting. We will inspire you with personal stories and experiences from a diverse group of role models and professionals within PwC Advisory. During a panel discussion, we will explore our working environment together and you will discover what it is like to work with us as an LGBTIQ+ professional or ally in an open, safe and supportive culture. After a shared lunch, we will dive deeper during an interactive workshop and conclude the day with a social networking drink at Bar Buka in Amsterdam.
The Queer Career: LGBTIQ+ & Allies event will be hosted by Remco Boxelaar. Remco will moderate the panel discussion and lead an interactive workshop. During this session, he will focus on the transition into a corporate working environment for young professionals, as well as the challenges and experiences that may arise — also drawing from his personal perspective as a member of the LGBTIQ+ community. Through personal insights and open conversations, he creates space for recognition, reflection and dialogue. Themes such as inclusion, authenticity and being yourself in the workplace are central to this session.
