Menno Braakenburg is an advisor to executives in the energy and utilities industry for Strategy& in the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam and working across Europe and the Middle East.
Menno supports transmission and distribution system operators, integrated utilities, and large infrastructure players in navigating the energy transition, becoming more agile and financially resilient, and delivering the multi-billion investment agenda required to decarbonize their value chains.
He focuses on the intersection between the energy transition and asset-heavy industries and brings strong functional expertise in strategic cost transformation, operating model and organization design, transformation orchestration, and strategy development and implementation. He is a core member of PwC's Energy Utilities and Resources practice.
Joining Strategy& in 2011, Menno has more than 15 years of strategy consulting experience across Europe and the Middle East. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, and a BSc and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft. Having grown up internationally, he is fluent in Dutch, English, French, Spanish, and Polish.
