Bastiaan Oomens

Bastiaan Oomens is a partner with around 20 years of experience in the fields of M&A, commercial due diligence, investment decisions, and growth strategies. He is the managing partner at Strategy& in the Netherlands.

Bastiaan works with private equity clients, investors, and corporate management teams on strategic topics typically in an M&A or financing context, supporting investment decisions and identifying the underlying full business potential.

Focusing on the (high-tech) manufacturing, construction, and B2B services sectors, Bastiaan has completed >200 buy-side/sell-side and business planning projects. He brings a particularly deep understanding of assembly and component sub-sectors, project- and R&D-intensive business models, and multi-site operations.

He holds an MBA degree from Columbia Business School in New York and a master's degree in strategic management from Tilburg University. As part of his MBA, Bastiaan interned with a US$4bn AUM private equity investor.
