Based in Düsseldorf, he provides strategic insights to leading European retailers, global consumer goods manufacturers, and small to medium-sized enterprises in the FMCG sector. With almost two decades of consulting experience, Ramon focuses on value chain-centric strategy projects that encompass business model reinvention, value chain transformation, and operations strategy, effectively "putting the value back into the value chain."
Before joining Strategy& in 2011, Ramon served as a consultant and project manager at a subsidiary of a global consulting firm, specializing in procurement and supply chain management within the consumer goods and retail sectors.
Ramon is an accomplished author and co-author of numerous PwC and Strategy& publications addressing value chain aspects of food chain transformation. He also leads the firm’s Value Chain Excellence Platform (VCX), aimed at improving the end-to-end value chain holistically.
Ramon holds a diploma in business administration with majors in corporate finance and international economic relations from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
