Dr. Marco Tietze is a leading practitioner in business-led IT transformations. Based in the Dusseldorf office, he is a Partner at Strategy& Germany. As a member of our retail and consumer practice, he advises his clients on all aspects of tech-powered strategy and organization projects, digital business models such as eCommerce marketplace platforms, and large-scale business-led IT transformation programs.
Marco has co-authored several publications on how technology can create a competitive advantage, which success factors are key in a business-led approach to IT transformations as well as our firm’s annual industry outlook on the grocery retail sector.
He holds a PhD in Innovation Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) where he also graduated in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering with a focus on strategy, applied informatics and operations research.
