Florian Mayr

Florian Mayr is a Partner in the deals strategy practice at Strategy& Germany. With nearly two decades of experience advising international investors and companies, he is a recognized expert and thought leader in strategic transactions with a particular focus on the energy transition.

Based in the Berlin office, his consulting focus lies on executing value creation projects, conducting commercial due diligence, as well as developing growth strategies and business models. He specializes in areas such as renewable energy and cleantech, including solar PV, energy storage, low-carbon hydrogen, and digitization.

Florian began his career at a leading international strategy consultancy before transitioning to in-house consulting at a major energy company. Prior to joining Strategy&, he was a Partner at a consultancy focused on the renewable energy sector, where he led the divisions for energy storage, green hydrogen, and ‘digital energy’.

He holds diplomas in both engineering and business administration from the Technical University of Berlin and the University of Mannheim.
