Corporate social responsibility

At Strategy&, taking responsibility is a core part of how we work and a value rooted deep in our company philosophy

How our people give back to the community

Strategy& supports nonprofit projects around the world. But our commitment goes beyond financial support: what truly matters to us is social responsibility in action. Through selected pro bono projects, we help organizations and associations with what we do best - strategy consulting, planning, and hands-on execution.

Achilles International

Sports and inclusion for everyone

Together with PwC Germany, we sponsor Achilles International Germany e.V. by supporting inclusive running for people with and without disabilities.

Achilles International Germany e.V. is the German branch of a global nonprofit organization. Its mission is to connect people with a wide range of disabilities through regular group runs, help them take part in running events, build self-confidence, and break down barriers.

Our sponsorship brings together three things: pro bono consulting, financial support, and personal involvement. For our employees, that means:

  • Taking part in prestigious running events
  • Volunteering as guide runners for athletes with disabilities
  • Contributing meaningful value through pro bono consulting

We firmly believe that sports bring people together and break down both physical and mental barriers. The result is an inclusive community where athletic challenges become an opportunity to unlock personal potential.

Bike4Charity

Cycling for children with kidney disease

As financial sponsor and with our own riders, Strategy& supports Bike for Charity e.V. to benefit children with chronic kidney disease.

Founded in January 2019, Bike for Charity e.V. organizes an annual, high-profile cycling tour. The ride raises awareness of the challenges faced by children and teens with chronic kidney disease, and highlights organ donation as often the only chance for a cure. All proceeds support the Leipzig Children's Dialysis Support Group (Förderkreis Kinderdialyse Leipzig e.V.).

Strategy& is involved on two levels: as lead sponsor and through employees who ride alongside the team. Anyone who wants to do some good and enjoys a team-based athletic challenge is welcome to join - new riders are always encouraged.

Wagner for children

Opera for the little ones

Together with the Bayreuth Festival, Strategy& introduces children to opera and classical music.

Festival director Katharina Wagner launched the project in 2009 to make Richard Wagner's works accessible to a young audience. Since then, the children's opera has become a fixed part of the Bayreuth Festival program. Each oeuvre is condensed to about one hour and performed by professional artists, while the costumes and stage sets are designed by children themselves.

The program is aimed at children aged eight to twelve. It is funded entirely by sponsors, including Strategy& as a long-standing partner. Admission is free for children. Each year, around 2,500 young guests attend the ten performances, which consistently sell out.

Past productions

  • "The Flying Dutchman" (2009, 2016, 2024)
  • "Tannhäuser" (2010, 2017, 2025)
