Tarek Kabrit reflects on his transition from Strategy& to launching Seez, an automotive AI company that expanded into 16 countries and was eventually acquired. In this interview, he opens up about the emotional rollercoaster of building a startup — including major business model pivots, investor pushback, and the pressure of staying in the game when quitting might have made more sense.
He also shares a more personal side of the journey, offering lessons he’s been collecting in a notebook for his son — including reflections on leadership, accountability, and why the toughest problems that CEOs face often become their greatest gift.
“It’s not even about the journey, it’s who you become in the journey.”
