Stephan Erni

Stephan is a Partner at PwC Switzerland (Advisory) in Zurich with extensive cross-industry experience but main focus in Financial Services.  
   
The core of his experience and expertise is centered around all aspects of group and segment value creation strategies as well as the setup and development of future-ready business and operating models. In addition, he led complex full potential transformation which also includes strategic advice in M&A transactions and merger integration. 
   
His client portfolio centers primarily upon global financial institutions, including Universal Banks, Wealth & Asset Managers, Financial Market Infrastructure, as well as Insurance Companies clients. 

Qualification & experience 

• 15+ years experience in strategy consulting and line management with focus on value creation, innovation, full potential transformations, and M&A.
• Prior (re-)joining PwC in 2024 
• Partner at Bain & Company, leading strategy projects in international environment 
• UBS Group, heading the global design office for UBS legal entity restructuring program 

Stephan holds an M.A. in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen, and is a CFA Institute Chartered Financial Analyst.
