Chang-Rae Kim is the Leader of PwC Strategy& Korea.

With over 25 years of consulting experience in the manufacturing and retail sectors, he has advised leading domestic and global companies and public-sector clients on mid- to long-term growth planning, new business development, and digital transformation strategy since joining PwC Consulting in 2005.

He is also an external evaluation advisor of major domestic companies and various public organizations.

He has published the Korean versions of Strategy&’s books, “Strategy That Works”, and “Fit for Growth, Improving the Constitution for Sustainable Growth”. He graduated from Seoul National University, majoring in business administration.

Yoo-Shin Chang is the leader of Strategy&’s Deal Strategy services.

He has extensive experience in growth strategies, business portfolio strategy, M&A strategy and post deal value-up advisory services within the PEF, manufacturing (automotive, automotive components and chemicals) and retail industries.

He also leads PwC Korea's start-up support program, connecting large enterprises and startups. He has published Korean versions of “Strategy that works” and “Fit for Growth, Improving the Constitution for Sustainable Growth” and co-authored “Integrated Strategies for M&A Success”. He previously worked at Deloitte Consulting and graduated with a degree in management engineering from KAIST.

Chang-Bum Choi is the leader of Strategy&’s Workforce practice.

He has led HR system design and enterprise-wide HR innovation driven by AX, leveraging extensive digital transformation experience across a wide range of industries.

Prior to joining Strategy&, he led BPR innovation initiatives in the financial sector at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte Consulting. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Georgia State University and is a licensed USCPA.

Jeong-Mook Kang advises clients across the energy, utilities, chemicals, and materials sectors, delivering a broad portfolio of strategy consulting services.

With deep experience working with major Korean and global companies, he has led engagements spanning corporate growth planning, new business development, portfolio renewal, turnaround programs, value chain and market assessments, competitive benchmarking, and commercial due diligence.

He also leads PwC Korea’s strategic agenda related to Energy Transition, driving strategy development not only for traditional energy sources such as LNG, but also for renewable energy businesses including wind, solar, and hydrogen, as well as SMRs and decarbonization initiatives. He graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in natural sciences.

Bum-Chul Kim is a partner of Strategy&’s financial services practice.

He has extensive experiences in projects such as corporate/business strategies, portfolio strategies, commercial due diligence and post-merger integration for major financial institutions(financial holding companies, banks, securities, asset management companies, etc.)

He also has been leading new business strategies, M&A strategies, and commercial due diligence for FinTech, BigTech, telecommunication companies, and private equities.

Prior to joining Strategy&, he was a member of financial services practice at Kearney, Boston Consulting Group, and Bain & Company. He holds a BS degree in business administration from Yonsei University.

Jung-Youn Kim is a specialist in Strategy&’s automotive and mobility, physical AI, and energy and power practices.

She leads the mobility and physical AI sectors, advising global OEMs, automotive suppliers, and mobility platform players across a wide spectrum of strategic topics. Her experience covers new business and go-to-market planning, R&D and technology road-mapping, and M&A due diligence, as well as strategy development for software-defined vehicles (SDV) and robotics.

She also supports clients in unlocking new growth opportunities through technology-driven transformation and innovation, helping them build breakthrough strategic agendas and long-term, sustainable growth paths. Prior to joining Strategy&, she worked at EY Parthenon, Arthur D. Little, and Accenture. She studied business and computer science at the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Tae-Young Kim is a partner at Strategy& Korea, providing strategy services across electronics, display, semiconductor and automotive industries.

He has worked with major multinational corporations and public-sector organizations on a wide range of engagements, including mid- to long-term growth planning, portfolio renewal, new business development, and digital innovation initiatives.

He also leads Strategy& Korea’s venture practices that support early-stage startups with investment sourcing, business development, and IR strategy. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Samsung Electronics and Nomura Research Institute. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Seoul National University.

Young-Ho Song is the leader of Strategy&’s financial services.

He has extensive experience in projects such as mid- to long-term growth strategy, business portfolio strategy, new business strategy, due diligence and PMI for major domestic financial institutions (financial holding companies, banks, securities, insurance and cards). He has recently been providing advisory services regarding the strategic direction of financial companies under the digital environment, such as digital transformation strategies, channels and platforms, and digital new businesses.

Prior to joining Strategy&, he was in charge of financial strategy practices at Kearney and has experience regarding financial practices such as structured finance, M&A advice, and IPO for leading domestic and foreign banks and securities firms. He graduated from Korea University and New York University (MBA).

Tommy Lee is a partner at Strategy& Korea providing strategy services across semiconductor, platform, healthcare/bio and retail industries.

He has led a wide range of engagements across the value chain, including competitiveness enhancement, growth agenda development, and go-to-market planning. He supports clients in developing market intelligence & simulation/platform strategies to address the rapid-changing business environment.

Tommy plays an active role in Strategy&’s global network, providing both inbound and outbound advisory services such as market assessments, feasibility studies, and go-to-market strategy development. As part of PwC Strategy&’s global secondment program, he spent two years with PwC’s New York office. He holds a BS degree in business administration from Yonsei University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Korea.

Woo-Young Jeon is a partner of Strategy&’s financial services practice.

He has established innovative business models such as digital transformation, global business strategies, and new business strategies for banks, card companies, fintech platforms, and savings banks. His specialties lie in establishing domestic and international financial business models for major digital banks and fintech companies, as well as offering advisory services to financial institutions for global expansion.

He is also a member of PwC Global Delivery Deal Value (DDV) Asia-Pacific Network and Open Banking & Payment CoE, and provides lectures on management innovation and PMI to major conglomerates. He graduated from Korea University with a degree in business and published a Korean version of “The Self-Destructive Habits of Good Companies...And How to Break Them.”

Hye-Soo Cho is a partner in Strategy&’s Workforce practice. She is a leading expert in strategy development, process innovation design, and solution implementation across HR functions driven by DX·AX.

Drawing on her experience leading Korea’s first implementation of global HR solutions such as PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM Cloud, and SAP SuccessFactors, she has led group-level and global integrated HR governance design and system implementations for major corporations including LG, SK, CJ, HD Hyundai, and Hyundai Motor Group’s financial services affiliates.

More recently, she has delivered numerous AX-based HR projects, contributing to enhanced organizational competitiveness through technology-driven HR innovation with a strong focus on change management. Prior to joining Strategy&, she worked at Oracle, SAP, and EY. She graduated from Ewha Womans University with a degree in mathematics and holds an MBA in HR and organizational design from Korea University.

Seung-Wook Han provides strategy advisory services to domestic and global clients of Strategy&, focusing on the adoption of emerging technologies. He has extensive experience supporting the deployment of new technologies, including AI, through close collaboration with the PwC global network.

He is a key member of the PwC’s global Semiconductor Center of Excellence (CoE) and has worked with numerous global semiconductor companies through joint engagements with PwC member firms worldwide. He has led multiple strategy and competitiveness enhancement projects across the domestic and international semiconductor ecosystem.

He is also regularly invited to speak at executive-level forums on topics such as semiconductor industry outlook, business strategies of global leaders, and operational strategies. He graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in sociology.
