11th LNG forum
Oil price decline could have a material impact on the LNG industry. A moderated panel session of senior industry experts reviewed the current situation and potential opportunities and challenges facing the industry, during an engaging session. More than 80 senior executives joined the event – which is part of an annual forum series Strategy& have hosted since 2009. The next one is planned for the autumn, date to be confirmed in due course.

For the 10th year, Strategy& analyzed R&D investment at the 1,000 biggest-spending public companies in the world, and examined changes in innovation over the past decade and what companies expect in the 10 years to come.
Strategy& and INSEAD recently collaborated to research the link between demand analytics and commercial performance. Our findings show that companies with leading demand analytics capabilities demonstrated higher commercial performance levels.

The economic challenge for companies is more serious now than it has been at any time since 2008, when the current financial and economic crisis began. The conventional strategies of the past few years — cutting costs and seeking business in the new high-growth markets of Asia and Latin America — will no longer be effective.
Strategy& recently launched and conducted its inaugural CIO Success(ion) Study, in which we surveyed and interviewed CIOs from a wide range of large multinational companies, most of them headquartered in Europe, across industry sectors.
