- I am a Strategy Generalist, so I do not specialise in any particular area, but I am currently working with the Energy, Chemicals and Utilities team.
Q: When you joined PwC's Strategy&?
A: 2012 (Full-time), 2010 (Summer Consultant)
Q: Why Strategy&?
A: What struck me most about Strategy& was the friendliness and welcoming attitude of the people I met. From offers to show me around and attend Friday drinks before I had even started, to the helpfulness of colleagues if I had any questions or worries, the people are definitely the differentiating factor for the firm. There are also many opportunities to get involved and learn about a wide variety of industries right from the start, as well as travel to many exotic and perhaps not-so-exotic locations.
Q: What's been your most rewarding project to date?
A: Working with a global aviation operating company to completely restructure their Control Centre Operating model, and help them to develop the business case for putting in place real-time technology across the whole company. With the two different workstreams within the same project, there was a huge variety of content, and this gave me the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the aviation industry, a sector I did not have any knowledge of prior to the project.
