Sergio Meneses is a Principal in Strategy&’s Mexico City office aligned to the firm’s CMD practice. He has extensive experience with working with companies in the consumer goods sector, including food, beverage, and construction materials firms in Mexico, the U.S., Central and South America, and the Middle East.
His recent engagements include:
- The design and implementation of a new Route-to-Market strategy for a set of beverage companies in South America that achieved a two-digit sales lift while maintaining the cost to serve unchanged
- Create a new commercial entity in charge of conducting sales & distribution activities for the largest food conglomerate in the Andean Region. The initiative generated positive results in several dimensions, being the weighted distribution, customer satisfaction and salesforce effectiveness among the most relevant
- Define the five-year strategic plan for the one the largest water-solutions and construction materials company in Latin America
He joined the firm in 2007 as a principal in the North America Consumer and Media practice. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for a local consulting boutique that he co-founded and spent five years at Mercer Oliver Wyman. His 11 years of experience in management consulting have been primarily focused on helping companies to develop best-in-class commercial capabilities.
Sergio holds an MBA from the IESE Business School in Barcelona and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
