Marcus Gloger is an advisor to executives in the industrial sector for Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. He is a Partner at Strategy& Germany, based in Munich. A member of our Operations team, he specializes in innovation, product management, and marketing strategies in all areas of the development of software, electronics, and mechanics for industrial component suppliers.
Before entering consulting, Marcus Gloger served 15 years in industry, 13 of which were spent in leading positions and 8 years in board functions. He held various R+D positions, starting as a team leader and later heading global R+D networks. In addition, he managed business development and strategic sales and was also in charge of overall enterprise strategy. He steered many innovations in the area of RFID/ NFC, voice data convergence, and mobile devices, from invention to market success. A number of these developments were later adopted either formally as European or as de-facto standards.
Given his rich industrial experience, he has extensive hands-on leadership and management skills. He also has in-depth technological know-how in all areas of Digital/ IT/ Electronics, and easily discusses those topics at the C-suite level as well as general questions regarding company and corporation development. Clients’ managers and strategists reach out for his opinion on various topics, from operations strategy to digital culture transformation.
Marcus Gloger holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
