Arjun Saxena is an advisor to executives in the Financial Services industry for Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. Based in New York, he is a Principal with PwC US. He serves clients in wealth and asset management, retail financial services, and health insurance. He has over 16 years of industry and management consulting experience with clients across the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Asia-Pacific region. Arjun has served seven of the 10 largest global wealth management firms and several leading U.S., Canadian, and global retail banks.

His functional expertise spans strategy, marketing, analytics, finance, and operations, and recent client work has included:

  • Growth strategy, channel strategy, and new product development
  • Client segmentation, sales productivity, pricing, and profitability analytics
  • New market entry strategy, acquisition due diligence, and post-merger integration
  • Prospect marketing and data-driven cross-sell initiatives

In addition to consulting, he has also been active in intellectual capital development and publications. He has authored articles published in The New York Times and has co-authored several research reports on financial services topics. He has also been interviewed by the The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, American Banker, The Globe & Mail, and Reuters on multiple occasions for his views on industry issues.

Prior to joining Strategy&, Arjun was a Partner at Oliver Wyman. He has also worked with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in New York, and with Citibank in Asia. He also had an entrepreneurial stint as a co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of Inductis, a big-data analytics firm which was acquired by EXL Service (NASDAQ: EXLS) in 2006.

Arjun has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, where he was an Industry Scholarship recipient. He also has a BTech degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, where he was a National Talent Search Scholarship recipient.
