What is the most important thing you have learnt at Strategy&

I have always been interested in strategy consulting with its high-impact projects. When I first met people from Strategy& during university I got a very positive feeling from the outgoing and ambitious consultants. Since consulting is a people business, first and foremost, it felt like a great place to start a career. Secondly, I have always enjoyed working at smaller firms – you tend to get more responsibility early on and there is a more familiar feel to the firm. The drawbacks are often limited scale of business engagements, however with Strategy& being able to utilize the full force of the PwC network, I felt like I was able to get the best of both worlds!

What has been your most rewarding project to date

My most memorable experience at Strategy& was the first project I did. It was a large transaction involving a professional services firm. I was quickly given a lot of responsibilities while at the same time I felt that I was given sufficient guidance and help in order to “learn on the job”. It was a project where I felt that I was able to add a lot of value, despite me being fresh from school. Additionally, I learnt a lot about the consulting profession and mindset in general. My key takeaway was that even though you just spent five years in school, there are still many new things to learn!

Beyond Strategy&

Outside work I really enjoy travelling, with Mexico being a personal favorite. I also enjoy good food, both cooking and eating out, and I also enjoy to play a lot of tennis.
