CNBC Arabia interviews Joe Saddi at the World Economic Forum 2011 in Davos, Switzerland.
Mr. Saddi discussed the Strategy& study entitled “A Challenging Mandate for Ministries of Finance: How the Right Capabilities Can Address Post-crisis Priorities” - a survey of more than 60 finance ministers and senior staff at ministries worldwide, along with other economic thought leaders, which indicates that new capabilities are needed to address a greater slate of responsibilities. Joe Saddi is the Chairman of Strategy&. He is a senior partner and managing director of the firm’s Middle East business and has over 20 years of consulting experience in strategic, organizational, and restructuring services. Over the years, he has led major privatization programs in such sectors as oil and gas, mining, steel, automotive, and consumer goods; advised Middle East governments on sector deregulation and sector policy; and led the reorganization of national oil companies and large corporations. He also works closely with large family-owned companies to help design governance and portfolio strategies.
