Michael Kamel is a specialist on business growth strategies for Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. He is a Partner with PwC Canada, based in Montreal and co-leads PwC Canada’s Business and Corporate Strategy practice. He focuses on supporting executives in identifying and evaluating their business growth opportunities and charting their corporate strategies.
Michael brings 20 years of management experience in both consulting and industry to his clients enabling them to read their markets and competitive landscape objectively, evaluate their organizational capabilities and consider their strategic options that maximize shareholder value creation. His ability to lead and facilitate fact-based strategic dialogue at executive and board levels has helped his clients to converge towards shared strategic visions.
Michael has a mechanical engineering background with a Master's and a PhD in strategic management of technology. He has occupied senior management positions in multinational companies and has worked with executives globally and in a variety of industrial sectors. Michael teaches strategic management at McGill University and sits on the board of several global development NGO's.
