Masahiro Ozaki is a thought leader in R&D management for Strategy&, PwC's strategy consulting group. Based in Tokyo, he is a Partner with PwC Consulting LLC. He is a leader of the Technology, Information, Communication and Entertainment Group.
His expertise includes R&D strategy, portfolio/project management, product development, technology management, product platform management, product life cycle management, functional process improvement, and IT implementation. His industry experience includes pharmaceutical, electronics, aerospace/industry precision machinery, software, and others.
He joined PRTM in 1999 when its Tokyo office was established and joined PwC when PRTM merged with PwC in 2011. Prior to working with PRTM, Masahiro was in product/ business development areas of a well-known global manufacturing firm based in Japan.
Masahiro received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Hokkaido University in Japan. He also earned his MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management and MEM (Master of Engineering Management) degree from McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University in the U.S. He has lectured at several business programs including one of the prestigious management schools in Japan.
