A new R&D operating model
In response to the current difficult market conditions, a global automotive supplier needed to rapidly downsize — while remaining positioned for future growth. So the company organized its electronic products group into strong vertical product-line units that owned their P&L and resources.
But with shrinking resources to support the needs of the product lines, the company needed a new operating model that could make better use of the finite resources available.
