Q: Why did you join Strategy&?
A: I had the opportunity to do an internship with the firm between my first and second years at business school, and I came away impressed with the caliber and character of the people at the firm. In only nine weeks, the camaraderie and professional bonds that I was able to develop with my teammates, fellow interns, and leaders at the firm was special. But more than that, I knew that they would also play an instrumental role in my future career progression.
Q: What's been your favorite project so far?
A: On a recent project, I was part of the team that helped a client plan for one of the biggest acquisitions that they’d done to date. Seeing the client’s confidence level grow as we worked through the analysis together was a truly rewarding experience. I walked away knowing that I had a hand in directly impacting part of the company’s future success.
Q: What is the best thing about being on a project team?
A: I approach every project as an opportunity to get to know a new group of friends who I can learn something new from. The relationships that you get to build with your teammates are really awesome at times. For example, my most memorable moment at the firm thus far: laser-tag team outing in Hartford, CT. We had the whole place to ourselves – it was a blast!
