Dr. Sebastian Marek

Sebastian Marek is a leading practitioner for wholesale banks and their business model transformation strategies to drive growth. Based in Stuttgart and as part of the global financial services team, he works with traditional financial institutions as well as with their emerging competitors across the EMEA region.

Sebastian combines profound experience in corporate and investment banking, structured finance as well as M&A. He also supports clients in their relationships with private credit investors when raising capital to grow their businesses.

He has co-authored many PwC and Strategy& publications. He holds a doctoral degree in insurance science, a diploma in mathematics and management as well as a master’s degree in mathematics.
