As partner in Strategy&, Kai is a senior leader in the Strategy consulting practice and the National Pension Fund Sector Leader for PwC in Canada. Over the past 15 years, Kai has advised a range of clients across Canada on a wide range of strategic and operational issues including commercial growth, advanced data analytics, operational effectiveness, policy reform and the impacts of technology and regulation. In particular, Kai brings deep experience in both strategy development and the application of analytical techniques in health care, private equity, technology and consumer goods. Kai recently helped establish an international technology business focused on corporate wellness. Before that, he led a strategy practice at KPMG, assuming various Canadian and global roles.
Kai excels at helping organizations navigate ambiguity and market uncertainty including the impact of policy reforms, competition and emerging technologies such as AI, and often helps organizations identify opportunities (use cases) that cut through noise to drive tangible value in the business.
Kai has significant international experience having worked on more than 70 engagements in more than 15 countries. Kai holds Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Engineering with a focus on Management Science from University College London, U.K.
