Varya leads PwC’s People and Organisation business for Strategy& in Australia, Southeast Asia and New Zealand. She is also a member of the Katzenbach Centre’s global leadership team representing Asia-Pacific. She specialises in strategic transformation with a passion for the people and organisation dynamics, in particular using culture to accelerate organisational change.
Varya has worked with leading public and private sector organisations across Europe, the Middle East, North and South America and Asia-Pacific, predominantly in the energy sector. She has been consulting for over 20 years. After 11 years based in London, she returned to Australia five years ago and is now living in Sydney. Her local efforts include supporting the largest post-merger integration in the Australian wealth sector as well as one of the largest public sector reforms in the country. She is currently driving transformation efforts for utilities on the east and west coast as they prepare for significant regulatory reform.
Varya holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Physics, and a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours, both from the University of Sydney. She completed her MBA at INSEAD in 1999.
