Chris Bartlett is a professional management consultant and leader of the Strategy& Telecoms, Media and Technology practice in Australia and South East Asia. He has over 20 years consulting experience across Asia Pacific, Europe and US. He is a recognised thought leader, authoring a range of leading industry publications and presenting at industry forums.
Since joining Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) in 2007, Chris has advised many large clients on a range of strategic problems, with a particular focus on clients in telecommunications, media, and the intersection of healthcare and technology. He has also advised different areas of government on their ICT strategy and transformation agenda.
In Telecommunications, Chris has advised leading Australian, New Zealand and South East Asian clients on their corporate strategy, channel strategy, product and portfolio growth, customer experience, rapid turnaround / cost transformation and adjacent industry growth plays.
In Health, he has acted as lead advisor on the Australian eHealth strategy to National Health & Hospital Reform Commission, the Department of Defence, Digital Health Agency and each of the jurisdictions on their eHealth investment case. Chris also advised Singapore’s Ministry of Health Holdings on its eHealth investment strategy, and has experience within the pharmaceutical and public health sectors.
Prior to Booz & Company, Chris worked for ten years as Managing Director of Bartek Consulting, offering subject matter expertise on product design, billing and transformation support to various clients in the telecommunications industry. These clients spanned multiple countries including Australia, USA, Malaysia, Indonesia, Spain and Austria.
Chris holds an MBA from AGSM for which he was awarded AGSM’s Directors Prize for Strategic Management. He also holds a BA International Business (Hons) from the University of Lincoln, UK and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney.
