Cultural get-together in Beirut

On July 28, 2011, Middle East alums had the chance to enjoy a cultural get-together at the Robert Mouawad Private Museum, which provided an evening of inspiring conversations with friends and valuable networking with former colleagues.

As the idea was to combine fun, culture, and networking, this alumni reunion featured a private tour of the museum, which offered an opportunity to experience the fascinating mix of Oriental and Occidental cultures via the museum's unique collections of books, ceramics, antiquities, sophisticated jewelry, and rare precious stones. The guide gave fascinating insights into the art and architecture, pointing out specific details of the items on display.

The guided tour was followed by a cocktail reception and delicious food bites in the cozy atmosphere of the museum’s historical garden area, where the guests walked around and enjoyed the beautiful setting. The atmosphere was social, with the alums mingling with each other as well as the staff.

Partner Bahjat El-Darwiche commented: “The alumni enjoyed the cultural and relaxed atmosphere of the event, which gave the staff and the alumni the chance to renew and strengthen their bonds with the firm.”
