Kelly advises healthcare payor and provider clients on strategic technology and core operations issues, with a focus on managing costs and quality of healthcare services through platform and operating model transformations.
Some of his recent client assignments include:
- Leading a pre-merger integration synergy analysis and design for a large payor-payor acquisition
- Leading a joint-venture carve-out analysis for two payors exploring the creation of a payor operations utility
- Leading the design of a new payor-led commercial platform offering to enable payor-provider joint ventures and provider-owned health plans
- Leading the design of a new operational capability to administer care bundles for a large hospital system
A thought leader, Kelly has co-authored the viewpoint “Administering healthcare bundles: An overlooked key to success in the new health economy.”
Kelly joined Strategy& as a Senior Associate in 2007 from Diamond Management and Technology Consultants. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant for Accenture.
He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
