Dr. Jaime Estupiñán is a Principal with Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business, and with PwC US. Based in New York, he is a member of the firm’s People and Organization Strategy practice and the Health market team. His experience extends to strategy and organizational transformation for health services and technology clients. He is an expert in building consumer-centric capabilities for health players and has led comprehensive programs to adapt health companies to new market environments. He has also led strategic transformation programs for global clients across industries.
Dr. Estupiñán joined Strategy& in 2001 shortly after completing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. He performed his graduate research work at the Cornell - Hospital for Special Surgery Program in Biomechanics. His undergraduate work was also at Cornell University. Dr. Estupiñán is a native of Bogotá, Colombia, and spent part of his childhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Dr. Estupiñán spends most of his free time with his wife, Renata, and their three children. He enjoys riding his road bike through New Jersey scenic roads, playing soccer on occasion, making modest attempts at Latin percussion and tinkering with electronics, computers and previously functioning toys. He also enjoys travel, going back to Colombia and Brazil and exploring new places with his family.
