David Meer is an advisor to executives in the Consumer and Retail industries for Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. Based in our New York office, he is a Principal with PwC US. David has more than 25 years of experience in marketing science, with specific expertise in customer insight, segmentation, brand strategy, value proposition development, pricing, digital analytics, and marketing ROI.
David leads our Demand Analytics capability, part of our Go-to-Market Excellence platform. Demand Analytics is an industry-leading service offering that helps our clients make the journey from resolving tactical customer data issues to generating strategic insight and building capabilities.
David has written extensively on Demand Analytics, publishing several articles including: Rediscovering Market Segmentation and Creating an Organic Growth Machine, both in HBR; and The ABCs of Analytics and A New Way to Gain Customer Insight, both in strategy+business magazine.
Prior to joining Strategy&, David was a partner at Marakon Associates and led the global analytics practice at MindShare, WPP’s media buying arm.
David earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at Hampshire College.
