Coen de Vuijst is a Partner based in Strategy&’s Amsterdam office and responsible for the Dutch Strategy& team. He focuses on the consumer goods and retail industry. His functional expertise consists of growth strategy, go-to-market model and organizational design, and commercial capability development.
Coen has led or contributed to numerous projects for the firm for a wide variety of clients, including: European e-commerce strategy for a leading international retailer; portfolio strategy and five year strategic roadmap for a leading food manufacturer; development and pilot of an alternative go-to-market model for a consumer products company; and commercial due diligence for a private equity firm to acquire a global beverage company.
Coen joined the firm in 2000, and was aligned to the NA Consumer and retail practice from 2005 to 2007. Prior to joining Strategy&, he worked at Philips Domestic Appliances and Personal Care.
Coen received a Master of Business Administration at INSEAD, Fontainebleau (with Distinction, 2002). He has a Master of Science degree from the University of Delft, in Industrial Design Engineering (Cum Laude, 1997).
