Organization and business model transformation for global tier-one automotive supplier

A global Tier 1 automotive supplier needed to dramatically reduce overhead costs and simultaneously adjust to and become more competitive with a more focused portfolio that reduced total revenues. The company also wanted to rethink their organization model to become more effective and responsive to the market.

Strategy& redesigned the organization to become more focused on the market and accountable for results. The organization transformation included eliminating redundant dimensions and activities in the business and implementing a global shared services model for support functions. We worked with the client to design and run a transformation program over a 24-month period that eliminated over $500M of SG&A costs.
